OpenWebUI Plugin

Export conversations from your self-hosted AI interface with one click

The OpenWebUI plugin adds an "Export to EdukaAI" button directly to your self-hosted OpenWebUI instance. When you have a great conversation, click the button to instantly save it as a training sample.

Installation

  1. Go to OpenWebUI Admin Panel: Navigate to Functions
  2. Import the plugin: Click "New Function" then "Import from Link"
  3. Paste the URL: https://github.com/ElGap/edukaai-openwebui
  4. Configure: Set your EdukaAI endpoint URL
  5. Enable: Toggle the function to "On"

How It Works

Have a conversation

Chat with your AI assistant in OpenWebUI as you normally would

Click export

See the "📚 Export to EdukaAI" button under each assistant response

Instant save

The conversation pair is immediately exported to your EdukaAI dataset

Tip: Set default category and quality ratings in the plugin configuration to speed up your workflow.
